In order to speed up the construction of sports track in Guifeng Mountain scenic area and promote the marketing activities, on August 13, Macheng Culture and Tourism Bureau, Tiandiren Outdoor Association and other groups went to Guifeng Mountain to survey the hiking route on the spot. Wu Baoyu, deputy general manager of Dabieshan Company, accompanied him.

Starting from Guankou Ao Square, the reconnaissance team reconnaissance the longevity stone path, azalea sea wooden walkway, Yunfeng stone path and Guankou Ao-Yunfeng stone track. The survey routes include Ruyiquan, Welcome Pine, Shoutai, Turtle Head (Tianshouding), Anti-Japanese War Stone Carvings, Nengren Zen Temple, Rhododendron Sea, Tiemazhuang, Kowloon Pine, Shenfengkou and other scenic spots. The reconnaissance team carries out statistics and planning on rest facilities, event signs, track mileage and supply stations along the route, and conducts on-site evaluation on the difficulty coefficient of the track challenge.

After on-the-spot investigation, the reconnaissance team also discussed the current situation, construction requirements and event planning of the Guifeng Mountain track, hoping to enrich the tourist products of the scenic area through the event activities, further expand the influence of the Guifeng Mountain scenic area and gather popularity.

Guifeng Mountain is a subtropical continental monsoon humid climate, located at the demarcation line between the north and south climate of Dabie Mountain. The scenic area has beautiful scenery, beautiful environment, fresh air and 95% forest coverage. The content of negative oxygen ions is as high as 200,000/cm3. In the golden autumn season, clouds and sea cover the whole mountain with red leaves, the upper forest is dyed and colored. Beautiful, red leaves, lush pines and green clouds, like a watercolor painting, beautiful as fairyland. The unique climate and natural resources make Guifeng Mountain a paradise for mountaineering enthusiasts.
