Basic information:
Guishan Rock Green is one of the specialty edible drinks in the Guifeng Mountain area of Macheng City. Its tea making technique has a history of over 2000 years. The natural scenery of the area is beautiful, with jagged rocks, towering peaks, lush trees, and gurgling streams. Tea trees are mostly distributed in semi-alpine areas 600 to 1000 meters above sea level, with short sunshine time and unpredictable climate. The soil in this area is a black soil layer with rocky scenery and decayed weeds and dead branches, rich in minerals and organic matter. The soil is fertile and deep, with a PH value of around 5.5. The annual average temperature is 16 ℃, rainfall is between 1200 and 1300 millimeters, and the relative temperature is 18%. The climate is mild and moist, making it an ideal place for tea. Every year around the Tomb Sweeping Festival, tea farmers choose unmarried women aged 16 to 20 to ride in the sun, rain, and dew before 9:00 a.m. every day, wearing local orchid cloth clothes, and holding bamboo baskets up the mountain to collect tea. The tea they collect is all two to three skin tender leaves. After returning home, they cool it in a cool place until there is no obvious dew, and then pour it into an iron pot to stir fry. When stir-frying, attention should be paid to both the shape of the tea and the dry temperature of the tea, The entire kneading process relies on the tea maker's experience, through visual observation, oral taste, and hand kneading, to gradually form a strip. After being brewed with boiling water, the tea is restored to the shape of the picked tea, without turbidity or deformation. The tea has a good color, aroma, and taste, making it taste sweet and refreshing after drinking.
